Setare ram

Care e diferenta daca modific din bios setarile pentru memorii la 1T, default e la 2T.

Incerci, nu se intampla nimic rau, daca nu merg in cel mai rau caz vor da erori, dai rst, revii la setarile anterioare si cu asta basta ...

Vei avea un spor mai mare de performanta decat daca ai scadea latentele, pentru ca command rate-ul are impact mai mare decat latenta CAS. Eu recomand trecerea de la 2T la 1T, dar numai daca iti ruleaza stabil.

Treci pe 1T, ca suporta memoriile.Iar sporul de performanta este semnificativ.
daca dragoste nu este, nimic nu este...

Ca o mica completare, 1T de la 2T aduce mai multa performanta decat restul setarilor la un loc. Si da, TinyBGA-urile suporta 1T (la mine au suportat cel putin...). Bafta.

Un procent ceva, mi-ar prinde bine sa stiu care este concret diferenta intre 1T si 2T ? Mersi, rob.

Nimic extrem, depinde foarte mult de arhitectura. La K8 se simte cel mai tare diferenta (se poate vedea cu ochiul liber). Voi face astazi niste teste cu ramii mei. Intai 2-2-2-5-1T@DDR400@stock processor, apoi 2-2-2-5-2T@DDR400@stock processor iar in final 3-4-4-8-2T@DDR400@stock processor. Voi folosi SuperPI 1M pentru rezultate. Din ce am experimentat pana acum, diferenta intre minim si maxim poate sa fie chiar de o secunda. Avantaje exista.

Am trecut la 1T :) . In SiSoftware Sandra Lite 2007 la 2T pentru testul memoriilor obtineam 4720 MB iar la 1T obtin 5390 MB; iar sistemul ruleaza stabil.
