Introducere: GGPO.net (Good Game, Peace Out) e un sistem de multiplayer online pentru jocuri de cafting emulate

List of current features
- games supported:
  • Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo
    Street Fighter 3 Third Strike
    Street Fighter Alpha 1 / 2 / 3
    The King Of Fighters 98 / 2002, Marvel vs Capcom, Vampire Savior, Dungeon & Dragons, X-Men vs Street Fighter, Garou - Mark Of The Wolves, Samurai Shodown 2, Final Fight, Marvel Super Heroes, Last Blade 2, Super Gem Fighter, Karnov's Revenge, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure
- matchmaking system with players located on a world map
- in-game chat
- spectating support
- widescreen support
- online replays database - viewable in browser

merge foarte, foarte bine (chiar formidabil) in comparatie cu alte sisteme de joc online (gen balaria de Kaillera), jocurile avand un timp de raspuns foarte bun chiar si cu ping-uri medii (~100 ms) datorita algoritmilor avansati care compenseaza lag-ul.

puteti juca practic cu oricine din Europa aproape ca si cum ati fi in LAN sau ati juca offline pe acelasi calculator.
jocul merge bine si cu cei din America (in special Coasta de Est), Africa de Nord.

Instalare: http://ggpo.net/download/
va mai trebuie bineinteles si ROM-urile cu jocurile respective (use Google).

username-urile jucatorilor romanii care frecventeaza serverul deocamdata: aquashark, treishtrei, Ike, nipciu, vyorelinho, yon_120, vagabone, briliantul, Satsujin, Kazuia, SlashScar, 0rph3us etc.

Ken vs Fei Long - un meci foarte intens (pe fundal se aude cum primesc mesaje pe yahoo, sa nu va panicati :D) (16.9 MB)

hmm.. chiar nu sunt amatori de un meci de Street Fighter2?
ce naiba.. e un clasic :/ voi n-ati prins vremurile cu salile de jocuri "mecanice" sau macar febra cu console SEGA Megadrive2? :)

Ai uitat ca nu mai merge tactica cu Smoke? :P As mai juca eu din cand in cand mk dar devine boring repede practic daca lovesti primul cu un combo celalalt nu prea are sanse sa revina. SF e o mizerie dupa parerea mea si nu merita sa il joc :D

As mai juca eu din cand in cand mk dar devine boring repede practic daca lovesti primul cu un combo celalalt nu prea are sanse sa revina.
celalalt nu prea mai are sanse sa revina daca habar n-are jocul si nu stie sa returneze combo-ul primit :P

oricum MK e mai dezechilibrat de cat Street d'aia nici nu-mi mai place. la Street Fighter poti avea un stil de joc ofensiv sau defensiv, pe cand la MK e doar un rush attack non-stop :)

a aparut o noua versiune de GGPO (vezi 3 posturi in urma) - Build 19!
si aduce spectator support, ceea ce este groundbreaking pentru fighting games! :occasion14: \:D/ =D>

* Spectator support is finally in. To watch a match, simply right-click on a user who’s playing.
* Greatly reduced the buzzing problem people with slow CPUs are running into.
platforma PC isi arata inca o data flexibilitatea inegalabila chiar si cu jocuri arcade :D

decat sa discutati despre Pixel Shader 15.0 pe care il are sau nu-l are Crysis sau daca DX 10.0 e teapa sau nu, mai bine dati niste meciuri rapide for some good ol' fun :)

n-ar strica niste meciuri pe-aici cu forumistii XPC, pe CG a avut succes mai mare :P

a trecut doar o zi de la ultima versiune.. si deja apare una noua, cu un joc nou pe langa SFA2 :D
Build 20 Release Notes

* Fix a bug which was causing player names to be reversed.
* Add support for Marvel vs. Capcom.
MvsC se joaca cu echipe de 2 personaje + unul auxiliar -> Chun Li + Venom + Cyclops = win!! \:D/

miscarile se pot gasi aici.

Chiar nu stiam, oricum ms, sfa2 merge foarte bine, dar pe mine ma intereseaza sa mearga la fel mk-ul...

MK nu merge decat prin MAME32++ (vezi primul post cu un ghid updatat)
insa MAME32++ nu merge la fel de bine ca GGPO in multiplayer, miscarile au un lag sesizabil care depinde si de ping.. kinda sucks

am capturat niste clip-uri cu meciuri din GGPO League editia #1
prima editie a avut 32 de participanti si a fost castigata de Image Akuma care a jucat cu Chun Li.
eu m-am clasat in primii 16, nimic spectaculos :<
scuze daca se mai aud buzz-uri sau sunete de la yahoo suprapuse cu cele din joc :P

3 jocuri noi suportate pe GGPO:
- Vampire Savior (foarte popular pentru japonezi.. in poza sunt 32 de spectatori la un meci :D)
- The King Of Fighters 98 (in lobby-ul de KOF98 e nebunie mare.. zeci de taiwanezi, coreeni si japonezi la orice ora :))
- Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow Over Mystara (beat 'em up cu elemente RPG)

urmeaza sa fie adaugate Street Fighter 3: Second Impact si Street Fighter Alpha 3

jocurile de fighting sunt pe cale sa revina in prim plan cu Street Fighter 4, Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo: HD Remix, King Of Fighters XII, BlazBlue, Tatsunoko vs Capcom.. ar fi bine sa ne facem temele cu niste jocuri clasice mai intai. nu esti gamer autentic daca habar n-ai sa faci un shoryuken reversal :)
