Totusi sper ca acest joc sa nu fie doar jump&kill... din trailere nu prea vad altceva.

Sunt fan al seriei asa ca il astept cu nerabdare. Totusi parca au cam schimbat pe sub capota destul de multe...si inca nu sunt sigur daca e spre bine. In general imi place sa astept aparitia jocului deoarece am patit sa ma pronunt prea devreme si sa ma insel amarnic

* It's not Games for Windows Live, it's just Games for Windows, which means it's just for windows. You won't need to use that crappy Games for Windows Live crap.
* There is regenerating health, but it works differently for each species. Predators have the most health, Marines come second, and the Aliens have the least health.
* It's not banned in Australia, it will be released with no alterations whatsoever.
* Melee attacks work on a Rock-Paper-Scissors system, heavy attack breaks block, fast attack interrupts heavy attack, etc.
* Aliens will be able to wall-crawl classic AVP style.
* Aliens can sprint really fast.
* Aliens will still be able to pounce on enemies.
* Alien Life Cycle has been reported to be different, but not absent.
* Aliens regenerate health very slowly, but can get health boosts from biting peoples heads off.
* Aliens can harvest civilians and scientists in SP, yet to be confirmed in MP, not sure what the purpose is.
* Aliens acid blood does do damage.
* Marines won't be able to jump very high or far, apparently to prevent bunnyhopping.
* Marines cannot crouch (Not sure if a bad thing, will wait for demo).
* Marines can only carry a pistol and two other weapons.
* Marines weapons (besides the pistol) include, Pulse Rifle (a given), Smart Gun (also a given), Flamethrower (another given), Shotgun, Sniper Rifle, maybe more.
* Marines might be able to set up sentry guns in MP, yet to be confirmed
* Marines life bar is divided into three, it only regenerates up to the current segment, Marines have to use stimpacks (which are limited) to regain full health.
* Predators Smart Discs (now called Battle Discs) aren't homing, they work like the RPG in HL2, following the laser.
* Predators Plasma cannon isn't homing, once it locks on target it fires in a straight line, can be dodged.
* Predators jumping ability is more free-form than you think (besides having to hold the "aim" button).
* Predators will have the ability to capture and reproduce sound to distract enemies.
* Predators supposedly can only carry wristblades and three other weapons.
* Predators weapons (besides the wristblades) include, Spear, Battle Discs, Shoulder mounted Plasma Cannon/Caster and Energy Mines.
* Predators life bar is divided into two, works in much the same way as Marines except instead of stimpacks you use the Predators first aid stabby things.
* Sub-classes are absent within each species. Replaced with different skins.
* Alien Skins include, Number 6 Alien (Hunters Edition, and pre-orders on various sites Only), Grid Alien, Runner/Drone, Praetorian, Warrior.
* Marine Skins include, A guy called Sgt Kaneko who looks a lot like Doomguy (Hunters Edition, and pre-orders on various sites Only).
* Predator Skins indclude, Some weird looking Predator with a mask that looks like an Aliens face (Hunters Edition, and pre-orders on various sites only), Aztec Masked Predator, Wolf, Celtic (both from AVP movies).
* There will apparently be a demo for us to try before we buy, supposedly coming out this coming week.
* Dedicated servers are confirmed for PC, consoles get a matchmaking system.
* Game is focused around multiplayer.
* Multiplayer modes include;
1. Deathmatch - Typical Deathmatch insanity.
2. Team Deathmatch - Each species in their respective teams.
3. Mixed Team Deathmatch - Each team has mixed species.
4. Infestation - A squad of Marines vs one Alien, Each Marine that gets killed by the Alien, becomes an Alien.
5. Co op Survival - Up to four Marines vs endless waves of increasingly tougher Aliens
6. Hunt - A squad of Marines vs one Predator, the Marine that kills the Predator becomes the Predator.
7. Predator hunt - A group of Predators vs one Alien, The Predator that kills the Alien becomes the Alien (Please note that this may not be accurate).

Am trait sa vad lupte corp la corp alien-marine. Mai trebuie sa vad si secventa in care marine-ul ii da o palma predatorului si-l adoarme.
Bag HARD de la inceput, macar "sa rupt tastatura de nervi" dar sa raman cu o amintire frumoasa din joc.

De asta mă miram și eu. Văd că e un nou trend să lipsească din jocuri anumite funcții cel puțin spus banale. MW2 nu are lean, BFBC2 nu va avea prone iar AvP nu are crouch. Iar lista celor ce nu au implementat jump-ul este și ea lungă.
În mod cert nu sunt jocuri de trecut cu vederea dar te fac să te întrebi la ce naiba se gândesc developerii (argumentul console sux, altceva).

Eh noi sa avem grafica sa ne luceasca ochii si sa salivam langa monitoare dar mod de interactiune cu mediul nema . Ce atata libertate?
Gamefootage-ul pare de pe consola, dar chiar si asa nu sunt impresionat. Alienii parca sunt pisicute in anumite momente in miscare. Nu zic sa aibe viteza sa nu poti pune tinda pe ei dar totusi...

• DEATH MATCH:
  If you love a game with frantic, brutal chaos then Death Match in AVP multiplayer is for you. It’s all about getting the most kills in the time limit set. Players can also win the match by hitting the target score before anyone else.
  
  INFESTATION:
  For total over-whelming mayhem, nothing comes close to the tension and potential for pant-wetting scenarios than INFESTATION. One player starts the match as an Alien Hunter and their task is to kill the Marine prey. When a Marine player is killed they will join the Alien Hunter team and help to kill off any remaining Marines.
  
  
  MIXED SPECIES DEATH MATCH:
  just like Death Match, but with mixed species. Two teams, made up from all three species fight to get the most kills in the set time limit or to reach the target score before the other team.
  
  
  SURVIVOR:
  For the ultimate test of stamina, play Survivor Mode. Survivor allows for up to four players to enter an arena to fight waves of progressively stronger aliens. Each arena will be set up with two main areas. One will be a platform which is relatively easy to defend; the other will be an area where ambush by aliens is more likely. Supplies of health and ammo will re-spawn in this second area.
  
  
  PREDATOR HUNT:
  If you’re after a more stealthy multiplayer game go for Predator Hunt. In this mode one player is selected to become the Predator Hunter, the rest of the players take the role of the Marine prey. The Hunter must use the Predator’s stealth abilities and advanced equipment to pick off the prey and score points. The Marines will need to defend themselves from this threat and if possible, to kill the Hunter.
  
  
  SPECIES DEATH MATCH:
  Species Death Match pits a Marine team, Alien team and Predator team against each other in a race to get the most kills within the set time limit or to reach the target score before any of the other teams.
  
  
  DOMINATION:
  Take capture the flag to a whole new level with Domination. In Domination two teams fight for ownership of Control Points around the level. Owning a Control Point gives the team a small and steady, stream of points. The more Control Points owned, the more that team scores. A team will win when their score has reached 100 points.

There are 35 Bronze trophies, 13 Silvers, 1 Gold and 1 Platinum, totalling to a nice 50 trophies. The Platinum trophy won’t be too easy, with the gold trophy for gaining what sounds like a hell of a lot of XP, and the silver trophies for beating the game on each of the three campaigns on Nightmare difficulty. Hopefully I’ll be fortunate enough to pick this up, the game looks quite interesting.

Păi atunci permiteţi-mi să mă alătur şi eu vouă . Având în vedere că cerinţele de sistem sunt destul de mici (repet, am un calculator antic), e posibil să fac un efort şi să-l cumpăr dacă multiplayerul e chiar grozav..
Tocmai ce am primit salariu.

Sega have finally announced that the Aliens vs Predator demo will be out tomorrow! As we confirmed last week, it will be released on Playstation®3 via Playstation® Network, Xbox®360 via Xbox Live and Games for Windows™ via STEAM. It will be a multiplayer demo and all three species will be available to play as. The level included in the demo is called Refinery.

Demo-ul e doar pentru multiplayer ?

Aşa pare din detaliile de pe Steam. Îl termin de downloadat acuşi, dar mi-a cam tăiat robitii din elan.
Edit: Da, e doar multiplayer. Tocmai ce am intrat în meniu.

Edit2: Mda, mie nu-mi place. Nici grafic nu excelează. Aş putea să citez un prieten şi să zic că arată ca Doom3. Chiar şi pe râşniţa mea (vezi profil), am 30 FPS-uri constant, 1280x1024, totul high. Nu sunt servere dedicate, e ca la MW2, stai şi astepţi să găsească jucatori.

Singleplayerul ar trebui să fie altceva.. totuşi mediul este cam claustrofob, cel putin pentru mine. Mă simt înghesuit.
