S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky Revealed
Via CVG and PC Zone comes word of Clear Sky, a prequel to the oft-delayed S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Oblivion Lost:
Revealed in the latest edition of PC Zone magazine, Clear Sky is a prequel to Shadow of Chernobyl. Without giving away too many plot for fear of spouting spoilers, it fleshes out the origins of one of the main characters in the first game who, stepping into the boots of a stalker from a rival faction this time around, you're out to kill. According to GSC, the Zone we stalked in Shadow of Chernobyl was one of relative peace - really? - but a year earlier when Clear Sky is set the environment is far more hostile. The developer describes the area as being "agitated", with anomalies "extremely active and the landscape is vastly different to what you've seen before."
"Even the air isn't as pure as in the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - with these 'spatial bubbles' which are like confusing M¿bius rings that whole expeditions of Stalkers simply can't find a way out of.", says project lead Anton Bolshakov.
PC Zone explains that Clear Sky's game world consists for 50 percent new territory and 50 percent twisted renditions of what you've played before.

The story of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky brings the players one year prior to the events of the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game in 2011.
A group of stalkers has for the first time reached the very heart of the Zone – Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, and brings about a cataclysm on the brink of a catastrophe. An immense blowout of anomalous energy changes the Zone. There are no more reliable and relatively safe roads. The entire levels vanish in the outbursts of anomalies. Stalkers and even expeditions die or end up sealed on the lost territories. New areas, which remained unknown since the time of the Zone emergence, appear on the Zone map. The Zone continues to shake with blowouts. The Zone is unstable. The anomalous activity is at its maximum.

Changes of the Zone map known to stalkers shake the fragile balance of forces in the Zone. Among the groupings, there flare up hostilities for the new territories, artifact fields and spheres of influence. There are no more old enemies or friends – now everyone is for himself. The Factions War has started between the groupings.

The protagonist is a mercenary who appeared at the edge of the opposition between stalker factions, Strelok and even the Zone itself. The main character will have to play the key role in the events, which led to creation of the Zone up to the point from which the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game begins.

What’s waiting for stalkers in the opened depths of the Zone? Which new challenges bear in the new territories? Why blowouts continue shaking the Zone? Why did the Zone change? Developer walkthrough (from GC 2007) - La fel ca si acesta e filmat cu camera, dar va puteti face o idee despre gameplay, grafica si joc. :tongue3:

Luminiile umbrele cum cad pe pamant si anturajul e mult mai bine lucrat decat in primul Stalker. Doamne sper sa nu il amane mult :d
Am o vaga impresie ca jocul Clear Sky trebuia sa faca parte din primul Stalker, posibil presati de timp au taiat de la jumatea jocului (inceputul primei parti aparute) si acum ne vor da si partea a 2a care normal e prima. :-k

Grafica este superba, stau si ma intreb cati ani trebuie sa astept ca sa-mi pot permite un computer asa de bun pentru a juca la high acest joc!

Am vazut ca primul STALKER a fost amanat de mai mult ori, si pentru cei care detin un computer performant este un chin, dar pentru mine nu este o problema mare, atat timp cat am un computer pe care sa ruleze decent!

Sper doar ca si aceasta continuare sa pastreze atmosfera comunista din primul...chiar sunt de efect acele utilaje/camioane comuniste si acele locatii care chiar te fac sa te simti in spatiul ex sovietic....
Din ce am vazut eu in acele trailere jocul pare a evolua mai mult spre o continua lupta urbana si atat...dar sper sa nu se renunte totusi la spatiile deschise si la fabricile si locatiile prezente in primul...cel putin pt mine acele lucruri fac sarea si piperul...

Daramaturile si locurile post-apocaliptice sunt la locul lor din cate am vazut.S-a insistat mai mult in trailer pe partea de FPS a jocului,poate aceasta a fost inbunatatita.Mie sincer primul nu mi-a placut fiind mult prea monoton pentru gustul meu.Daca acest "Clear Sky" va fi mai alert un pic ,probabil ca o sa-mi placa.

shadow of cernobyl e prea RPG-istic si cam monoton ,vb lui Gabe ,nu am avut rabdare sa il termin desi e un joc bun.

o sa fie mai activ deoarece

o sa incepeti in Mlastine si acea zona o sa fie foarte mare... o sa aiba loc asa numitul 'facion war' unde puteti alege sa ajutati una din cele 7 factiuni sau sa jucati de unu singur... jocul o sa aiba 12-14 niveluri.. tot ca in SoC si o sa fie mult mai mult freeroam... prima 50% o sa fie 100% explorabila.. adică puteti face tot ce va taie capu(adică daca vreti.. puteti sa ramaneti cu factiunea dorita si sa omorati tot ce prindeti..) sau puteti sa continuati jocu si sa urmariti storyline-ul ca sa il terminati... sfarsitul jocului Clear Sky o sa fie unde a inceput Shadow of Chernobyl si o sa faceti tot ce va sta in putere sa il opriti pe STRELOK... unde o sa dati gres :)
Fiecare factiune o sa aiba cate un conducator ( nu puteti sa ii luati locu ), puteti sa va upgradati arma ca sa fie pe gustul fiecaruia si multe altele... Cerintele o sa fie la fel ca la primu, numai ca pt a juca pe dx10 o sa trebuiasca sa detineti ultima placa video... artefactele o sa fie mult mai greu de gasit si o sa fie foarte importante, anomaliile o sa apara si o sa dispara randomly... si multe altele... eu unu.. de abia astept sa apara.. m-am jucat primu si m-a captivat de la primul pas pe care l-am facut in ZONA... :D

oare o sa bage si vre-un mijloc de transport, sau o sa fie ca in SoC, imi iau picioarele in spate si hai, la drum ca tre sa ma duc dintr-o zona in alta. Nu zic are farmecu lui mersu pe jos, dar daca ai misiuni de facut care te trimit dintr-o parte in alta devine obositor/plictisitor. Plus ca mijlocu ala de transport ar avea un portbagaj, unde mai bagi un RPG, un costum antirad, niste sticle de vodka, o maslina :tongue3: oricum sper sa apara cat mai curand ca iar o sa imi ramana calcu' mic, acum e mare, dar in viitor...

Lasand gluma la o parte: da ar fi interesant sa avem cu ce ne deplasa.. in primele filmulete din stalker (alea veeeeechi) ni se spunea ca vor pune 6 vehicule etc.. nu s-au tinut de cuvant, dar poate vor implementa chestia asta in Clear sky

in legatura cu transportu in joc.. nu o sa fie vehicule, dar o sa fie anumiti Stalkeri care pt o anumita suma de bani o sa ne poata arata cum sa ajungem mai repede unde dorim sau un fel de teleport? nu stiu sigur.. ca la inceput au spus ca o sa ne arate pe unde sunt scurtaturile si pe urma GSC a spus ca o sa fie un fel de loading.. oricum au facut bine ca au scos vehiculele din jocu original.. m-am jucat moduri cu vehicule si credeti-ma ca am pierdut multe lucruri..

We changed the role of factions in simulations. i.e it used to be some smart terrain, one of a hundred, that generated quests with the precondition that they could only be taken by members of certain factions, but now the faction itself is a game entity, it has its own goals within the simulation, fights other factions, while the player can assist this and immediately see the result of his actions.

Also, we made several changes to the character’s combat behaviour. Now they fight more efficiently and became more believable.

Daca oamenii sunt la fel de prost facuti ca in Shadow of Cernobyl... si in ce hal fugeau aia, zici ca erau retardati [smilie=Nice-try.gif]

Vazut si eu traileru DX10, ce bine arata =D> , iluminarea e superba, pentru jocu asta imi bag Vista [smilie=maniac.gif] . Ce ma supara sunt animatiile armelor cand tragi, parca nu au recul, sunt prea statice.

asgard,nu trebuie sa astepti deloc ca sa ai un computer suficient de bun pt a rula acest joc.Eu am jucat putin demo-ul si pot sa zic ca imi merge la 1680x1050,AA si detalii max,fara nici o problema.Asta pe un Q6600,4gbram si un 8800GT.Are jocul si un prieten de-l meu si lui ii merge la 1280x1024 si detalii medii,cu un pentium dual core(nu conroe),1gb de ram si 8500GT.Ce pot spune despre joc este ca grafica este intr-adevar ceva mai buna decat jocul precedent(nu cu mult insa),dar depaaarte de Crysis.Desigur,nici cerintele de sistem nu sunt aceleasi.

Nu mi se pare cu mult departe de crysis. Grafica din crysis este prea monotona, nu are acel ceva sa te atraga pe cand cea din stalker este foarte atmosferica, te unge pe suflet :D

Este ca si cum ai lua un student oarecare de la arhitectura si un artist format, un pictor sa zicem. Ii pui sa faca o natura statica, cel de la arhitectura o va face sa arate mult mai aproape de realitate dar ii lipseste ceva :D

E un beta care are doar full dynamic lightning, e vechi de un an şi plin de buguri.
Se găseşte doar pe anumite site-uri [smilie=Thumbs-Up.gif]

Chiar sumbra atmosfera din stalker, sper sa fie mai plin de viata fata de primul, te intrista
